Screen Printing on Textiles All-Day Workshop

Experience a full-day screen printing workshop to create your own custom t-shirt and have a blast!

Learn a new skill, enjoy a day of crafting, and meet new people at our all-day screen printing workshop!

Screen printing is a method of creating an image with stencils, which are attached to mesh and stretched over a frame. Using a squeegee, ink is pulled through the stencil to create an image, then designs are cut and transferred to a t-shirt through screen printing mediums.

Suitable for students of all abilities. Our friendly tutor Mike will give a brief introduction to screen printing. You will be talked through the equipment that will be used throughout the day including how to set up the printing bed, cleaning your screen and print registration.

You will learn step-by-step using traditional handmade methods. How to hand cut your design using paper stencils. Mixing your own colours in preparation for printing and transferring to a Tshirt.

The class will be taught by demonstrations and you will be shown examples of what’s possible to create, including artworks and T-shirts that have been screen printed. The workshop is a creative and practical introduction to the screen printing process.
