Ceramics short course
You’ll have a relaxing, entertaining and informative time, leaving the course having created a number of ceramic works.
Learn a new skill with our popular ceramics short course near Tottenham Court Road in London, which runs for 3-5 weeks offering pottery classes that will allow you to explore your creativity by producing ceramic works under the guidance of a qualified Tutor.
The course takes place in our Art Studio in Central London. It features two wheels and an on-site kiln. All clay, glazes and tools are included in the course price. There are just eight spaces on each course, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Mike Amorelli is an experienced artist and tutor, who has been working in a range of creative
practices including ceramics and screen printing for over 20 years. He trained at Camberwell
College of Arts and London College of Printing. Mike was able to experiment with combining both practices by screen printing directly onto clay during a recent residency in Italy.
Mike’s extensive freelance experience includes drawing on the benefits of creative activity in
working with adults and children living with physical, mental health, emotional or complex needs.

Alex Smith
Alex Smith is an innovative Ceramics artist and educator with extensive experience running various hand-building ceramics courses in London.
The bold graphic style typical of many of his own pieces reflects a background as a professional animator and illustrator.
